Mazu & Fish

The Mazu embroidery themed on fish is inspired by the Mazu deity enshrined at our event venue, Mazu Island's Tianhou Temple. We've transformed the attire's characteristics into elements of marine debris, fish, and more!

Mazu & Dolphin

The Mazu embroidery themed on dolphins is inspired by the Gongtian
Temple in Baishatun. During Mazu's patrol, Indo-Pacific humpback
dolphins often appear along the west coast, humpback dolphins are
the focal element of this artwork.

Mazu & Coral

The Mazu embroidery themed on coral is inspired by the Chaotian
Temple in Xiao Liuqiu. It is said that coral spawns massively around
Mazu's birthday, and Xiao Liuqiu is known to have the most coral in
Taiwan. Hence, the attire's characteristics in this artwork are inspired
by the Mazu of Xiao Liuqiu.

Mazu & Turtle

The Mazu embroidery themed on sea turtles is inspired by the Dayi
Temple in Penghu. They were once the only temple in Taiwan legally
allowed to raise sea turtles. Drawing this connection, the attire's
characteristics in this artwork are inspired by the Dayi Temple's Mazu,
transformed into various marine debris elements.
